What does the school look like inside?
It is a regular building on a street in Chatham, five minutes' walk from the train station. The front door is black with a doorbell. Inside there are five classrooms, a sensory room, a life-skills kitchen, and a ground-floor accessible toilet.
How many people are here?
Twenty-five, at most, in the whole school. No class has more than 5 pupils. A lot of the time it is you and one adult, or you and one other pupil. You will know everyone's name within a week.
What if I have a bad day?
You will. Everyone does. Nobody here will shout at you, and you won't be excluded or sent home for having a bad day.
We watch for the signs and do whatever helps: let you do less, change the task, move somewhere quiet, or do something with your hands for a bit.
Do I have to do exams?
Some pupils do GCSEs or Functional Skills. Some do vocational certificates and life qualifications. It depends on what you want to do afterwards (college, apprenticeship, job). You get a say.

You can come in for 15 minutes, look around, and leave. You don't have to talk to anyone if you don't want to.
